He is a highly accomplished interventional neuroradiologist with over 29 years of experience in leading medical institutions. He specializes in advanced neurointerventional procedures for cerebral aneurysms, Brain AVMs, cerebral dural AVFs, carotis & intracranial stenting, spinal cord vascular malformations, CVT, venous sinus stenting for IIH, head & neck vascular malformations etc.  Currently serving as Director, Neurovascular & Peripheral IR at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai, he has previously held prestigious appointments such as Professor & Head at INHS Asvini, Mumbai and Senior Advisor (IR) at Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore. Dr. Sivasankar has performed over 5000 life & limb saving interventions to date, conducted numerous national & international workshops, contributed extensively to neurovascular research, & is an executive council member of the Society of Therapeutic Neurointervention.

He is the course director for the TINMAN (Techniques in Neurointervention & Management Strategies) program, is a well known speaker in national & international conferences and has organized high-profile neurointervention summits.
