Dr. Rajeev Sivasankar is a highly accomplished neurointerventionalist and neurovascular surgeon in Mumbai, renowned for his expertise in stroke treatment, brain aneurysms, AVMs, cerebral dural AVFs, carotid and intracranial stenting, spinal cord vascular malformations, CVT, venous sinus stenting, and head & neck vascular malformations.
With over 20 years of experience in leading medical institutions, Dr. Rajeev Sivasankar has performed over 5000 life- and limb-saving neurovascular interventions. He currently serves as Director, Neurovascular & Peripheral IR at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai, and has previously held key positions such as Professor & Head at INHS Asvini, Mumbai, and Senior Advisor (IR) at Command Hospital Air Force, Bangalore.
A pioneer in interventional neuroradiology in India, he is passionate about advancing neurovascular care through cutting-edge technology, innovative endovascular techniques, research, and mentorship of future specialists. Dr. Rajeev Sivasankar has also conducted numerous national and international workshops, contributed extensively to neurovascular research, and serves as an executive council member of the Society of Therapeutic Neurointervention (STN).
